Norman Neotapin Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Neotapin, who passed away on August 4, 2025. Norman was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph and Beatrice Neotapin; his brother, Caleb Neotapin; and his sisters, Josephine Taylor, Lucy Louttit, and Evelyn Neotapin. He is also survived by his sisters, Beulah Neegan (Ken), Charlotte Neotapin, and Edith Sutherland (Norman); his cherished children, Marcella Mattinas and Travis Mattinas (Chelsea); his precious grandsons, Trayson, Ashtyn, and Hayden; as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom he held dear. Norman’s life was marked by strength, quiet wisdom, and deep love for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.


Funeral Arrangements


The funeral service for Norman Neotapin will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. • Family Wake: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. • Public Wake: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. • Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. • Burial: To follow at the Constance Lake First Nation Cemetery
