Obituary of Joel Moore

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Joel Moore who passed away on Monday, October 15th  2018 at 53 years of age in Hearst.  He is survived by his best friend Mildred Huntinghawk, as well as his 5 stepchildren : Elvin, Lory, Ernest, Scott and Melanie all from Manitoba; also many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also leaves in grief his 9 sisters : Dorris, Mandy, Nora, Florrie, Nellie, Maria, Doreen, Cecile and Eliza; as well as his 2 brothers : Roger and Richard.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Sophia (Born Wesley) in 2001, his brother Isaac and 3 young siblings;  also his nephews: Raymond, Daniel, Abel and Travis.

Joel was a carpenter and a plumber for the Band Office for many loyal years. He was very passionate for hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed hockey a lot as he was a goalie on the "Objicree". He was well known in the community as a very quiet and private person as well as being a very respecting person to others and nature. 

There will be a wake held on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at the St-Stephens United Anglican Church, in Constance Lake from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at the St Stephens United Anglican Church at 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow after the funeral at the Constance Lake Burial Ground.

Nous avons le regret d'annoncer le décès de M. Joel Moore décédé à Constance Lake le lundi 15 octobre 2018 à l'âge de 53 ans.  Il laisse dans le deuil sa meilleure amie Mildred Huntinghawk, et ses 5 beaux-enfants : Elvin, Lory, Ernest, Scott et Melanie, tous de Manitoba, ainsi que plusieurs beaux-petits-enfants, neveux et nièces. Joel était un ouvrier et un plombier loyal à la Band Office de Constance Lake pendant de nombreuses années. Il était un homme très passionné pour la chasse et la pêche et aussi pour le hockey; il a été un gardien de but pour l'équipe "Objicree". Joel était très connu dans la communauté comme un homme très calme et privé, ainsi qu'une personne très respectueuse envers les autres et la nature.

Il y aura des visites le jeudi 18 octobre 2018 au St-Stephens United Anglican Church de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 19 octobre 2018 à St-Stephens United Anglican Church à 14h.  L'enterrement  suivra les funérailles au Constance Lake Burial Ground.
