Obituary of Gordon Breau

Nous avons le regret d'annoncer le décès de M. Gordon Breau, survenu accidentellement le 9 décembre 2020 à l'âge de 48 ans.  Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents: Betty Ann et Ronald de Tracadie, Nouveau-Brunswick, son frère Jimmy (Renée Roll) ainsi que son filleul Maxime de North Canton, Ohio.  Il laisse également dans le deuil sa bien-aimée Sonia Coll et les enfants de Sonia: Céleste et Pascal, tous de Hearst.  Il laisse également derrière lui son oncle: Dennis (Claudette) et sa tante Zélia (également sa marraine), ses cousins et cousines: Marc (Joanne), Brigitte (Gordon) et Lee.  Il sera manqué aussi par plusieurs amis et connaissances de Hearst et de sa ville natale à Tracadie.

Gordon a vu le jour le 13 juin 1972 et a grandi au bord de l'océan Atlantique, à Tracadie au Nouveau-Brunswick.  Il obtient son diplôme d'études secondaires de la polyvalente W-A-Losier de Tracadie pour poursuivre ses études postsecondaires dans le domaine de la foresterie.  C'est en 1997, qu'il obtient son diplôme de la faculté de génie forestier de l'université du Nouveau-Brunswick et ainsi, jumelle sa passion de la nature et de la faune au travail.  Pour plus de 23 ans dans la région de Hearst et Kapuskasing, il a apporté son expertise en tant qu'ingénieur forestier et était surintendant des opérations forestières pour la compagnie Tembec jusqu'à maintenant pour la compagnie Rayonier Advance Materials.

On se souvient de Gordon comme un homme aimant, respectueux, taquineux et d'une incroyable générosité.  Il aimait faire plaisir à son entourage et ayant le coeur sur la main, il était toujours prêt à rendre service.  L'importance des valeurs familiales lui tenait à coeur et il était le pilier de la famille.  Amant de la nature, il aimait chasse, la pêche, le camping, les randonnées en forêt, les rencontres entre amis et plus que tout, il adorait voyager.  Gordon laisse un vide immense et une trace profonde dans le coeur de sa famille, sa bien-aimée Sonia, les enfants de sa bien-aimée ainsi que ses nombreux amis et collègues.

Une célébration en la mémoire de Gordon aura lieu le samedi 19 décembre de 13 h 00 à 17 h 00 à la salle conférence de Louisbourg (141 chemin La Petite Gaspésie) à Hearst.

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Gordon Breau, who tragically lost his life on December 9th, 2020 at the age of 48.  He was the beloved son of his parents: Betty Ann and Ronald from Tracadie, New-Brunswick, the caring brother of Jimmy (Renée Roll) and his godchild: Maxime from North Canton, Ohio.  He will also be missed by his sweetheart Sonia Coll as well as her children: Céleste and Pascal, all from Hearst.  He also leaves behind his uncle: Dennis (Claudette) and his aunt: Zélia (who is also Gordon's godmother), his cousins: Marc (Joanne), Brigitte (Gordon) and Lee as well as many friends and acquaintances from Hearst and his hometown in Tracadie.

Gordon was born on June 13th, 1972 and grew up by the Atlantic ocean breeze in Tracadie, New-Brunswick.  He graduated from the W-A-Losier high school to later on, follow his postgraduate studies in the forestry field.  In 1997, he earns his degree from the Forestry Engineering Faculty at the New-Brunswick University and ties his passion for nature and the wildlife with work.  For over 23 years, from Hearst to Kapuskasing, he brought his expertise as a forestry engineer and supervised the operations for Tembec until now, for Rayonier Advance Materials compagny in Hearst.

We remember Gordon as a caring, loving and respectful gentleman who had the most generous heart.  Although he loved to tease his loved ones, he was always available to help out and always had their best interest at heart.  Family values were very important to him and he was the pillar of the family.  As the true outdoors man that he was, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, walking and riding in the woods, get togethers with friends and loved to travel.  Gordon will forever be missed and leaves a great imprint in the heart of his beloved family, his sweetheart Sonia and her children as well as many friends and colleagues.
