Obituary of Evelyn Neotapin

Obituary

Evelyn Neotapin (Taylor)

Sunrise: June 22, 1952 - Sunset: March 5, 2024

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dearest mother Evelyn (Taylor) Neotapin at the age of 71 years old.

She is survived by her children; Jennifer Taylor (Richard Sayers), Elton Taylor Jr., Joseph Taylor, Dianna Taylor, & Michael Taylor. She also raised her grand-daughter Denika Taylor and her great-grandson Angel Taylor. She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.

She was predeceased in death by her husband Elton Taylor Sr. (Jan-1997) and her son Chris Taylor (Nov-2020). Also, her parents Beatrice & Joseph Neotpain, her brother Caleb Neotapin and sisters Josephine Taylor and Lucy Louttit.

Evelyn was a kind, thoughtful and generous person with a great sense of humor. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She had many hobbies, but her main interest was politics and in her younger years, she served 4 terms as Band Counsellor in Constance Lake First Nation, and she also worked in the court system as an Oji-cree translator and probation worker for her community.

But most of all she was a loving, caring and supportive mother to her children, and a loving Kokum to grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
