Aaliyah Nona Rain Jacko
Sunrise July 13, 2001 - Sunset April 12, 2024
Aaliyah ‘Nona’ Jacko, 22, was born in Sault Ste. Marie. She lived in Thunder Bay before moving to Constance Lake First Nation in 2014. It was here she embraced her most cherished role, that of a mother to Jamin, 6, and Coen, 4. Aaliyah will be remembered for her bright smile and the laughter she brought with her everywhere she went; her ability to brighten anyone's day will be greatly missed. Family was most important to Aaliyah. She always showed love and care for the people around her.
She is the cherished daughter of Cynthia Mattinas and Kendall Jacko, the granddaughter of the late Isabelle Papassay and Lawrence Jacko, Rita Mattinas, and the late Thomas Sr Mattinas. She is fondly remembered by her sisters Marcella, the late Tinisha, Alanda, Natasha, Senika, and Emma, as well as her brothers Jacob, Chance, Kendall Jr., and many cousins and extended family. She loved being an auntie to her nieces and nephews, Bentley, Caiden, Aubree, Lyric, and baby Drew. She will be deeply missed by all her family and, most importantly, her boys.
