Obituary of Nicholas John Zebruck

We regret to announce the death of Nicholas John Zebruck on September 17, 2018 at the age of 75.  He is survived by his loving wife Elyse and his 3 children:  Yvan (Jocelyne), Célina (Claude) and Sylvain (Lucette) all from Kapuskasing as well as his mother Joan and 5 brothers:  Peter (Jean) from Thompson, Manitoba, George (Marion) from Kenora, Jim (Cathy) from Dundas and Fred (Christine) from Edmonton and one sister in law: Thérèse.  He will also be missed by his adoring grandchildren:  René, Tania, Sonia, Mélanie and Anik as well as numerous precious great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his father:  Nicholas (1975) and his brother William (2016).

Nicholas was enjoying a well deserved retirement after 35 loyal years as a surveyor for the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO).  He was a proud member of the Lions Club as well as the Second Mile Club in Cochrane.  In his spare time, Nicholas enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and was also a travel enthusiast.  But above of all, the time spend with his precious grandchildren and great grandchildren was what he cherished the most as they all held a very special place in his heart.

A celebration in memory of Nicholas will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cochrane on September 29th 2018 at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane.
