I had the pleasure of meeting Angela Moore when I was studying Ojibwe language at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. She was a very kind and approachable lady with a vast knowledge of the Cree language. She sang many wonderful songs for me and I'll always remember her sweet voice and kind demeanour. My humble condolences to all her family and friends.

Our most sincere condolences to all of you in the loss of a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, Angela. I taught many years with this lovely, pleasant, kind ,caring , intelligent woman . I took three courses from her. We had so much fun. She was a very special lady who accomplished so much, a natural leader, a model for all. May she rest in peace! I would love to sing in Cree for her but I’m worried about mispronouncing the words. It’s been too long. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Take care! Chuck and Pierrette McDonald.
